Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Duration: 4 Years

Objectives of the Course:

To provide high standards of education by adopting holistic approach. To develop knowledge, skills, attitude and aptitude in giving comprehensive care to the clients to manifest physical, social and mental conditions.

To demonstrate competence in Nursing skills, techniques and participate, co-operate and Co-ordinate as a member of health team in promotion, prevention and restoration of health.

To develop skills in teaching formally and informally in the class room setting, in the clinical area and in the community field.

To develop and demonstrate benevolent leadership qualities of integrity, responsibility and understanding and take right decisions in various institutions.

To practice ethical values in personal and professional life.

Programme of Study:

The duration of the Basic B.Sc Nursing Programme is 4 years including 6 months of integrated practice. Examination will be conducted by the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in the month of August every year. Term test will be conducted in every month and the marks will be sent through the post.
